The house is in San Salvador de Cantamuda, within the province of Palencia, and is built of stone.
It is divided into 2 floors and a studio with independent access. It has capacity for a maximum of 18 people and can be rented as a whole or by floors.
The location of the house is exceptional for nature lovers, it is within thePalentina Mountain Natural Park, surrounded by forests and large green areas.
Each of the plants and the studio has different capabilities:
- Theground floorhas3 double bedroomsand 2 bathrooms.
- The first floor is the one with the greatest capacity, it can accommodate 10 people located in 2 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and 4 bathrooms.
- And the studio has a double bed, a bathroom and there is the option of a sofa bed. We also have baby cribs at guests' request.
Stone and wood are the main materials in the construction of the house, but in the interior, comfort is present thanks to the use of modern materials and neat appearance. In addition, throughout the house you can enjoy heating and walks with gardens to relax and be comfortable.
Inside each of the 3 rooms there is a game collection, television with DVD, stereo, library and living room with fireplace. In addition to a kitchen complete with the appliances and the warenecessary to guarantee comfort.
All bathrooms are complete, they have necessary elements to make your stay as pleasant as possible. All spaces in the house are decorated with a very careful rural and colonial appearance.

The north side of the house faces the river, and where you can enjoy beautiful mountain views and the Romanesque collegiate church. From the south side of the house you can see mountains, meadows, forests and something of the town.

The beds come fully dressed with their set of pillows. They have living room with sofa and armchairs to enjoy the heat of the fireplace, watch TV or chat with friends or family. The entire facility enjoys central heating.

The house is located in an isolated area of the district ofSan Salvador de Cantamuda, a town of about 150 inhabitants. It is a town located more than 1000 meters above sea level, so the winters are cold and snowy and the summers are not so extreme. It belongs to the Municipality of La Pernía and is in the middle of the Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre Natural Park, a park of about 80,000 hectares.
It is a park full ofvegetation and wildlife. La Tejada de Tosande is one of the most important in Europe and is located within the park, as is the Pinar de Velilla. The fauna is very wide and one of its characteristic animals is the brown bear. There are also capercaillie, Cantabrian chamois and various species of lizards, birds and felines. The park is rich in geology thanks to the karst massifs that give rise to the Copper Cave or the Sel de la Fuente sinkhole.
On the grounds around the house you can practice activities such as mountain biking; horseback riding, hiking or mushroom picking. In winter the nearby ski slopes are a great attraction. In summer they are the climbing wall, paintball, and water sports. Extreme sports such as skydiving, paragliding or canyoning are also in high demand in the area. About 10 kilometers to the north you can access unbeatable views of the Picos de Europa, Puerto Piedrasluengas and Liébana.
