Description of La Pontiga de Avalle
Rural house in the province of Asturias, specifically in the municipality of Aballe. Surrounded by the Picos de Europa, nature lets itself be noticed. Our house, which has been recently restored, offers rest but also entertainment, since the area encourages it.
Divided in 3 floors, our characteristic facade will make you find the house quickly. Our 5 rooms are distributed throughout the house with the peculiarity that each of them is presented with a different decoration and names of characters from Asturian mythology:
In addition, the rooms are already equipped with sheets and blankets to make the bed very comfortable. The bathrooms are private and are inside each bedroom. They include, in addition to a perfect decoration, towels for all guests.
Our common areas are the place to chat with the other tenants and also to disconnect. You can do it in our room, in the comfortable sofas and in the heat of the fireplace for example. Our kitchen is available to you and we also have a dining room, that has a large window overlooking the outside, where you can enjoy the breakfasts of the house.
On the outside of the house we have a large garden with barbecue that becomes a perfect plan in which to enjoy the Asturian food, the views of the mountains and the fresh air that surrounds us.
Our house is very familiar, everything has been treated by us, from the furniture of the house which we have reformed, to the paintings hanging on the walls. We want to transmit that feeling of family to all who visit us.

- Nuberu: character that manages the climatology at will, which is why they are feared, especially by fishermen, for provoking tomentas with lightning bolts and thunderbolts.
- Xana: extremely beautiful woman, usually blonde and always close to crystalline waters.
- Trasgu: is a mischievous genie who lives in the houses and his biggest passion is to hide things and disturb family life but if you are treated well, you put it in your pocket and can be a great help.
- Cuélebre: a mixture between snake and dragon whose mission is to guard things of value.
- Diañu: it is a pixie who likes to spend little bullets, not heavy, but without excessive malice.

Covadonga is a few kilometers away and there is "La Santina " patron of the Asturians and for which they feel tremendous admiration. If we visit the Basilica of Covadonga, then we can finish at the Lagos, a mythical picture of this area.
The beaches are another strong point of Asturias and specifically in our area we have the regions of Ribadesella and Llanes that have numerous cliffs. Also in Ribadesella we can also visit the Cave of Tito Bustillo, one of the greatest treasures of rock art and we have it very close.
