La Casa de Enmedio

We present this accommodation that is located in the Sierra de la Demanda of Burgos, specifically in the small village of San Vicente del Valle, offering a quiet rural environment in which to disconnect.

It is arural house that, having been renovated, has respected its original architecture, thus preserving its rural charm.

Its capacity is for four people, located on the second floor of the house, with a independent entrance, since the owner of the accommodation resides on the lower floor.

Inside, it is made up of the following rooms:

• The dining room

Next to the hall, it has a large black table, with several matching chairs, where you can enjoy meals in the company of your loved ones.

• The living room

It has a rustic touch thanks to the exposed wooden beams, but combining with a modern style decoration. It is equipped with a large and soft sofa in front of the television, and on one side of the room, the wood-burning fireplace, providing a warm feeling in winter.

• The bedrooms

Composed of two rooms, being double in both cases and housing in one of them a double bed, while in the other we will find two single beds.

• The bathroom

We find a full bathroom, with wooden doors and furniture, combining beautiful bluish tiles, and which is equipped with a large bathtub.

The house includes free internet connection, as well as heating.

Outside, we will find a large garden equipped with furniture, with a small covered gazebo, and a barbecue area.

San Vicente del Valle is a small town in the rural area of Burgos.

Located in theSierra de la Demanda, it is surrounded by oak and beech forests with a spectacular change of leaves in autumn, making it an ideal place for all types of routes.

Very close to the urban center of San Vicente, in addition, we can find a small architectural jewel such as the Church of the Assumption, of Visigothic origin dating back to the VI century and which is considered the oldest preserved in the entire country.

Furthermore, if you want to get to know the surroundings, within a short distance you can visit Santo Domingo de la Calzada, where its monastery stands out especially, dating back its origins to around the 7th century.
