Description of La Casa de Arriba

The rural accommodation of La casa de Arriba, in the Sierra del Sueve, has a capacity for 4 people and a beautiful equipped garden with all the outdoor furniture necessary for your enjoyment.
The house has 2 floors, distributed differently, on the upper floor, 2 bedrooms. One of them has a double bed, and the other has two single beds. Between both rooms is the full bathroom, for common use.

Going down to the common area, we find a small corridor furnished as a rest or reading area.

On the ground floor we find a large open space room. On this floor, the kitchen is located, fully equipped with everything you need, such as kitchenware and electrical appliances. Also the living room, with two large and comfortable sofas that are arranged towards the fireplace, in the center of this space. Between both distributions, a large wooden dining table with capacity for all guests.
This charming house also has a large outdoor space. In this garden tables and chairs have been placed to be able to have meals in the open air under a beautiful porch.
The house has maintained the classic characteristics of the Asturian houses, combined with the facilities of today, but without altering the aesthetics of the area.

Sourroundings of La Casa de Arriba

The house is located in an Asturian village. Villar de Huergo is a small group of houses that are part of the council of Sevares.

Between green mountains and landscapes typical of northern Spain, Villar de Huergo is a typical Asturian town. Its strategic location allows to easily access the beautiful coastal towns of Lastres, Tazones, Colunga, Ribadesella and Llanes.

It is also a good starting point to enter some of the most emblematic places of the Asturian mountains such as the Picos de Europa, Covadonga or the mountains of Ponga; or to discover artistic and ethnographic groups of great value such as the granaries of Espinaredo, the route of the mills of Ribadesella or the Indian houses of Beleño, Arriondas or Llanes.
The area, in addition to being rich in natural and tourist terms, is very gastronomically rich . In the towns near Casa de Arriba, we can find two restaurants with Michelin stars: El Corral de Indianu in Arriondas, and Casa Marcial in La Salgar.
