El Viejo Pozo

El Viejo Pozo is a newly built rural house located in Abejar, a town in Soria located in the region of Pinares.

It is a home that has been restored respecting the typical environments of bygone eras, but providing it with all the luxury of details and great comfort so that guests can enjoy a very pleasant stay. To recreate these ancient environments, most of the house has wooden floors, the ceilings also have wooden beams and the walls are covered in stone combined with paints in warm colors such as ocher or red.

The capacity of the accommodation is for 12/16 people who can be distributed around the 6 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, equipped with hot tub, with the following characteristics:

• Three double bedrooms
• Two double bedrooms with single beds
• A bedroom with three single beds

In addition, the possibility of having extra beds is offered.

The common areas of the house are the following, all elegantly decorated and decorated:

1. Living room with fireplace, TV, DVD and Wi-Fi internet connection
2. Dining area with a large table
3. Kitchen equipped with wooden furniture and granite countertops

On the outside of the house there is a huge fenced garden of 600 m² where there is a covered porch with a barbecue accompanied by tables and benches to enjoy it.
This rural house has a lot of charm; Here the combination between modern and ancient is unbeatable.

In Abejar, a small town in Burgos with less than 400 inhabitants, you can visit these places of interest:

• The Gothic church of San Juan Bautista, built between the 16th and 17th centuries.
• The hermitage of Nuestra Señora del Camino, from the 16th century. XVIII.
• The ruins of a Moorish masonry tower/watchtower, 3 m high and 1 m thick.
• The Mirador de la Atalaya, an ideal place to enjoy the views of the Urbión and Cebollera mountains.

If you like hiking, we recommend the Cañada Real Soriana Occidental: part of a livestock route more than two centuries old that crosses the municipality from north to south.

You can also visit the town of Calatañazor, which has been the setting for several films due to its historical-artistic complex and its medieval air that has cobbled streets, typical houses, a castle tower and its corresponding walled enclosure. It is ideal for walking through its streets and entering a parallel world that invites you to dream about the Middle Ages.
