Ecogîte Les Ribes

Our ecogîte is located at an altitude of 680m, 800m from Biert, in the middle of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees.

It is an old barn which has been completely renovated with natural materials, it is isolated, very pleasant and peaceful. This accommodation in full nature is designed for 2 or 3 people, to enjoy the peace that this paradise offers you with your family or as a couple.

You will have access to outside of the house by a stone path which arrives just in front of the veranda at the main entrance.

-The veranda has a garden furniture that you can use both outdoors and indoors enjoying the natural landscape thanks to the glass doors. You can also use the barbecue.

- At ground floor you will find an open kitchen with wooden furniture and all the appliances that you will need, as well as a dishwasher that you can use if you are too tired to wash the plates.

-In the same space, there is a dining room with a round table to enjoy your romantic dinners or your meals with family.

-Next, dance the lounge, the sofa offers you a perfect place to rest after a long day or to take refuge from the cold while contemplating the fire of the fireplace.

-On the second floor, the bedroom offers two spaces with 3 beds, a single bed, a chest of drawers and a desk, on the one hand, and two single beds and a television, on the other. Sheets are available for hire on request.

-The bathroom, decorated in green, is fully equipped and also has an electric towel rail that you can use to heat your bathroom linen, which will be provided to you on request.

You will also be able to enjoy all the amenities of our accommodation with your dog for an additional price.

In addition, there is a cleaning service and baby equipment on request.

There is also a tourist tax which is not included in the price. Heating and electricity are extra.

This ecogîte at 680m altitude is located in the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees. It is located on the road to Col de la Crouzette, 800m from Biert, in the valley of Massat, in Haut-Couserans. You will be completely absorbed by the mountains, the trees and the tranquility.

There are many types of high mountain hikes and hiking trails for those who love to walk. For example, the Ker interpretation path, or the stagecoach path. Or, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, in winter.

If you like animals, there is also the possibility of doing the treks on the donkey. The horse riding is also very present in the area.

For those looking for stronger emotions, there are sports activities such as Nordic skiing, paragliding downhill skiing, canoeing or rafting.

And for the more peaceful, you can visit the churches and chapels of canton of Massat or the hawkers' shops, less than 10 km away, in Soueix.
