With an impressive facade that honors the houses in the area, the stone, wood and brick predominates inside. The posada dates from the 19th century and throughout this time it has been suffering several modifications until it reaches what it is today: a beautiful accommodation that wants to make its guests feel at home.
The last floor of the house, the roof, was in which most of the forces focused since it is the rooms.
A total of 8 double bedrooms with beds of different sizes, of which you can choose the one that best suits you. All are decorated in different ways, but always respecting elegance and rural touch that we want to convey. Beds with wooden headboards to match with the tables and cabinets, all are equipped with sheets and blanket games so that your dream is as pleasant as possible. They also have a lot of light thanks to the windows on the deck.
The bathroom is within the same room and has all the necessary services, in addition to products that we put at your disposal and of course the towels for both tenants.

After making the reservation and previously speaking with a man from the posaba who confirmed it for me, we had to leave the accommodation on the 2nd day because the dog could not be left alone in the room at any time and we reserved with that condition.
Apparently the man who answered the phone does not usually take care of the affairs of the inn. In the end we had to cancel the programmed activities since it was not possible to do them with the dog and return to Madrid after taking the ride in a valde and spending for nothing.

You will find two important archaeological sites; On the one hand the Cave of the Station, inside which we can observe remains of rock art paintings, and the clotilde, where remains of these paintings were also discovered but which is currently not open to the public, except for researchers.
Very close is Santillana del Mar, the villa in whose nearby are the Altamira caves, which is the main attraction of this town. Of great tourist interest, once again the paintings and engravings of the prehistory are the protagonists again.
