This rural inn you will be able to find in the Cantabrian village of Santillana del Mar. Its name refers to an architectural element that is very common in the area: the balconies from which to sunbathe, which are given that name there.

The villa Santillana del Mar has a medieval style that can be seen in the facades of its houses, the main buildings and the streets themselves. Totally pedestrian, with two main streets and a square where the Colegiata de Santa Juliana and Cloister, a National Monument whose current construction dates back to the XII century.
We are located next to the famous cave Altamira, the most famous place of rock art of our ancestors. Although they are currently closed to the public for conservation, right next door there is a museum where replicas of these paintings can be seen.
You can also a to visit the Cabárceno Nature Park, a curious zoo in a natural environment. As well as the cave of "El Soplao", where you can observe large geological formations along more than 20 kilometers.
