Description of Posada La Torre de la Quintana
In the zone East of Cantabria, a little over half an hour from the capital, we discovered this small inn in the municipality of Liendo. Built attached to a house of seventeenth century, which still maintains the original facade y in which you can see elements of yesteryear as the shield of the Sopeña family (who runs it), here we find the rest and comfort of the North from Spain.
Next to the house there is a tower from the 15th century, which evokes the most important families of that time, and which represents the architecture of this area of Cantabria. Also noteworthy are the medieval towers that still maintain and reflect the character of high lineage and mayorazgo of yesteryear.
In this inn with a capacity to host up to 23 people there is a total of 11 rooms. Most of them are doubles and some of them are a bit more spacious with small private rooms for guests.
