Description of La Casona de Don Elias
This rural house is located at Cantabria, specifically in a beautiful little town called Silio.
With only 600 inhabitants and a spectacular setting, which add an extra touch to our experience.
On the facade, of 2 floors, we can see the beauty of the stone discovered in its walls and the wood that decorates windows and the incredible glass in the gallery, where we can sit and enjoy the views it provides. Inside, the decor is characterized by the exquisite use of natural and rustic materials with the comfort of modern gadgets and furniture.

Inside, the decor is characterized by the exquisite use of natural and rustic materials with the comfort of modern gadgets and furniture.
The stays are divided into:
- On the lower floor we have a large living room, in which the original materials of the house predominate, expanding the view of the wood both in the beams and in the furniture, these being very comfortable armchairs with ear flaps and a table with chairs.
- A living room, in warm tones mixed with the whiteness of the walls, giving it great luminosity, in which the importance of the magnificent fireplace prevails.
- A kitchen, decorated in the same style as the rest of the rooms, quite spacious and fully equipped including an area of office ideal for having breakfast surrounded by ancient objects and of great beauty.
- 4 bedrooms, in which the maximum capacity of 10 people is completed, 2 of them with double beds and decorated with superb taste, one with single beds and the other, ideal for the little ones, decorated with cheerful tones, in which we have a double bed and 2 singles. All the ceilings of these rooms, located on the second floor, are sloping ceilings with exposed wooden beams.
- 2 full bathrooms with toilets in perfect condition, spacious and following the trend of the rest of the house.
