La Casa de Hijas

Our rural accommodation is located in the Cantabrian town of which receives its name, that of daughters. It is an old construction made with oak beams and sandstone walls . Something that we maintain today, because we have only changed the distribution of the house and incorporated the necessary elements for the contemporary world. 

has 3 plants and has the capacity to welcome 10 people . 

The hall already gives us an idea of ​​that rustic style. It retains the soils of limestone and old furniture. From him you access the room, which was previously a haystack. Today it has chimney , sofas and is also used as a dining room. 

From it it is accessed through a snail staircase to the first bedroom. And it is that in total has 4 bedrooms , each of them identified by a color: green, violet, orange and red.

all have their own bathroom and are double , except for one, which is accessed through stairs that are located in the hall. This one has a marriage bed and an extra individual. It is the main bedroom and it is from the inauguration of the house. It has the largest private bathroom and 2 balconies to different areas. 

There is the possibility that we give you a cradle in case you need it.

The kitchen is also next to the living room. In which you see perfectly how old and modern style are combined. retains a kitchen and wood oven , but has all the necessary necessary. 

There is another lower floor, which we can call as a basement and that was formerly used as a block. It has about 70 square meters. There you will find a barbecue, a picnic table or a ping-pong table . 

The daughters of Daughters does not have 300 inhabitants today . The capital of the municipality is Puente Viesgo, which is about 3 kilometers from the rural accommodation and where you can find all the necessary services. 

Also at that distance you can visit a church that previously housed a convent of Las Carmelitas , built in the 16th century. A little further you will find another church, this one of Romanesque and the XII. 

Also, is 13 kilometers from Torrelavega and 29 from Santander .
