San Cristóbal in a small town of about 180 inhabitants that belongs to Arenas de Iguña located in the comarca of Besaya, in the heart of the community of Cantabria.

- The Camino de Santiago. The Route of Besaya crosses this town and was already used by the Romans to communicate with the interior of the Peninsula. It offers splendid passages as well as ruins, causeways and historic churches.
- The Archaeological Ensemble. It includes the deposits of La Espina del Gallego, Cildá, the Canton and Campo de Las Cercas. This is Roman camps used during the Cantabrian wars.
- Palacio de los Hornillos. At the end of the 18th century, this building was built in what is now the largest estate in the province. Some 30 hectares of the same house some fabulous gardens.
