El Horno

Our rural accommodation is located in BarrioPalacio de Anieavs, a Cantabrian town located in the heart of the Anievas Valley, in the center of the province. 

We are surrounded by calm and nature and, at the same time, well communicated: a kilometer is sands of Iguña, the municipal capital, and less than 50 km Santander.

The house we present to you is built on a ancient Hornera, restored to adapt to modernity, but preserving its structure and decoration of its origin. 

It is a perfect home to come with family, including your pets. It is prepared for 4 people, counting inside with:

• living room, a space where you will breathe the warmth of a home. Among its equipment, the chimney stands out, around which the armchairs are distributed. To acclimatize the stay to your liking, it has heating.

• kitchen, with a American bar that communicates it with the living room. There are appliances, microwave, dishes, cleaning products, tablecloths...

• double room, located on the upper floor under an abuhardied roof. Where you will find a marriage bed, for couples; and 2 individual beds, for kids. 

• bathroom, with complete equipment. You will have the necessary utensils for personal hygiene, such as shower.

• terrace abroad with table, chairs and barbecue.

The house is on a farm where there is a second annexed home, with independent access. Outside, both children and the elderly can do agriculture and livestock activities, since we have farm and a garden where we grow vegetables and fruit trees.

The house is among the valleys of the Saja and the Pas, a landscape of lush and green forests through which the course of the Besaya River runs. It is an ideal environment for the practice of outdoor activities: Senderistic routes in spring, walks through the river in summer, collecting mushrooms in autumn, or even skiing during the winter seasons.
