This stone house is located among the green meadows and forests of the Valle del Miera in Cantabria, very close to the town of San Roque de Riomiera.

Recently renovated with attention to detail, the old Pasiega cabin is today a cozy rural accommodation with all the comforts and capacity for 5 people, who can enjoy:

• A lovely living room with a fireplace and 2 comfortable armchairs to enjoy it, a dining area with a large table and large windows with a panoramic view of the valley in all its splendor. 

• The kitchen, with American bar, is equipped with all appliances at your disposal, including dishwasher and utensils to use. 

• A double bedroom with a large bed and wooden furniture, which has a private bathroom for total privacy. 

• Bedroom with 2 single beds and a sofa that converts into another bed with side tables and night lights. 

• A second bathroom equipped for your comfort. 

• The entire house has heating and hot water. 

• The meadow becomes the best terrace to enjoy the views and the good weather. 

Upon your arrival, we will wait for you in the town to guide you to your cabin so that you have no problem finding it among so much nature and tranquility. 

The wild Pasiego valley through which the Miera river flows is of incomparable beauty with capricious shapes. Dolinas, lapiaces and poljes represent the most common exterior forms, while inside enormous cavities develop like the paleolithic cave of El Salitre, recreated today in the Sopeña cave that can be visited to learn about what life was like in the valley from Alto Miera thousands of years ago.

Its towns keep architectural jewels through which you can learn about its streets and history, among them the Palacio de Soñanes in Villacarriedo, the Collegiate Church of Santa Cruz in Castañeda, the Church of Santa Maríain La Cárcoba de Miera or the Church of San Jorge in Penagos.
