Ajo de Bareyo is a town belonging to the autonomous community of Cantabria located at the end of the Ajo estuary, on the cape of the same name. The town has 2 very important monuments. One of them is the Romanesque Church from the 12th century, although the nave roof was built in the 16th century and the tower in the 20th century.
The other monument is the Molino de la Venera, located in the Ajo estuary and built in 1753. This mill worked with the movement of water as the tide rose and fell and is located in the heart of nature surrounded by splendid landscapes.
