Domaine château Le Risdoux- Gîte le Lavandin

We are in the department of Ardennes, a land of art and culture. It is located in the north of France and contains exceptional natural beauty.
Our accommodation belongs to a small town rich in heritage historical with a large river that divides it into 2. We are located in the countryside, surrounded by trees and mountains. This is a large rural house that has a capacity of 14 people perfect for events and celebrations. The owners are multilingual so no worries about foreigners. You will stay in an authentic setting dating from the 17th century and from the terrace of the accommodation you have a view of the lake.

The house is on 2 floors and made in stones. It is surrounded by a very charming lawn garden with a play area. A large terrace with a pergola which covers the long dining table and chairs.
The interior is very comfortable and charming.
On the ground floor it contains:

• 1 kitchen with a large oven, a dishwasher and everything you need to prepare a meal for a large number of guests.
• 1 very elegant and welcoming living room contains a television, a wood stove which is in front of the corner made of sofas.

First floor:

• 3 double bedrooms with 1 bed for 2 people.
• 1 double bedroom with 2 single beds.
• 1 bedroom for 2 with 2 single bunk beds.
• 2 spacious bathrooms and 3 separate toilets.

On the second floor you will find:

• 2 bedrooms with 4 single beds.

The rooms are very comfortable and warm, their windows overlook the incredible landscapes of the countryside and the mountains. The internet connection is available throughout the house.

Outside, enjoy the peace and serenity of rural areas. Surrounded by your friends or family, you will have a good time around the barbecue, drinking a delicious rosé wine.

Start by visiting the historical places of the area and learn about its heritage.

• The Castle of Hierges,
• the Fort of Charlemont à Givet
• and the Grottes de Nichet to Fromelennes are very interesting places to discover.

Go for a sightseeing day in the beautiful cities of: Charleville-Mézières, the city of Sedan or at Vireux - Molhain. These 3 towns constitute very important municipalities of the Ardennes department thanks to the importance of their history and heritage.
During your day visit to one of these cities, take the time to stroll through their city center and take photos that will remain physical traces of your beautiful memories. Stop by the tourist shop and ask for the cultural program for the week. A beautiful play or musical evening is a good party program;)
