We are Jesus and Lourdes, owners of this beautiful house since the year 2004.
It was at this moment that we decided that we wanted to involve everyone who wanted it, a magnificent experience.
Taking advantage of the fantastic surroundings of the town of La Atalaya, belonging to Ciudad Rodrigo and its impressive views, since it is at an altitude of more than 800 meters, it is not surprising that all the groups that have visited us until today, have I was delighted
Also, if you come in the first week of May, you can enjoy the festivities in honor of San Miguel, on days 8 and 9 and, later in the summer, we have more parties so you will have a great time here.
What the owner pinpoints on the property
Our house, now converted into a rural accommodation, keeps some of the characteristics of its previous activity as a farmhouse.
We want you to feel at home during your stay and, for that, we have adapted your interiors with all the comforts, so you can enjoy an experience full of tranquility and unforgettable moments. The exteriors are perfect for living together, with areas such as barbecue and a unique element in the area: a squash court in a building attached to the house.

What to do in its surroundings?
A few kilometers you can enjoy one of the most beautiful natural landscapes, which is given by the Agadón river pass, where even the most amateurs can fish. The mountain that surrounds us finishes completing this frame that, together with the chestnut forests, create a postcard view.
If you decide to move to Ciudad Rodrigo, less than 20 kilometers away, you can visit the Miróbriga, located between the Sierra de Francia and the Arribes del Duero, very close to the border with Portugal. Do not miss this area because it keeps in its interior, many points of interest and has been declared an Artistic Historic Site.
We could highlight, among these points, the Cathedral of Santa María and the wall, both built by order of Fernando II.
The Town Hall and the castle, demolished and rebuilt several times, were also part of the mandate of this king.
If you choose the natural part, move about 40 kilometers and you can contemplate the imposing Sierra de Francia and its interior spaces plagaos of valleys, rivers and forests.
Due to its great extension, the populations of La Alberca, San Martín del Castañar, with an old Visigoth village in its territory and Miranda del Castañar, are part of it, in an old hill. All three have been declared an Artistic Historic Site.
Another natural area worth visiting is the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, 70 kilometers from our town. Here you will find the path of the Douro River and its irregular flow that has left spaces full of vegetation in which the areas of dams and reservoirs are mixed.
In addition, to have proof of your views, you can visit in the Natural Park, several viewpoints in different points such as Ahigal oil of the: with the viewpoint of the Pulpit of the Nuns or Aldeadávila de la Ribera with the mirador del Fraile and the Picón de Mariota (Corporario).
