About Pilar*/ Miguel Millan, Owner of La Cabaña de Mozoncillo
Pilar*/ Miguel Millan
Hi, I'm Pilar and I've been almost 10 years dedicated to rural tourism. I am happy to receive travelers in my house because I like to enjoy the area of tranquility that is breathed in the town but above all how cozy the house is.
The decoration is basically rustic with a light modern air, that without being overloaded gives a touch at the same time functional.
I like that when the client enters the house he expresses his admiration for everything that catches his attention.
I also make special emphasis on cleanliness. It is a subject highly valued by customers. It is perceived as soon as you enter and that invites you to take care of the house as if it were your own.
Important: Dogs, pets and pets are not allowed.
In the end a house that will leave a mark, no doubt.
What the owner pinpoints on the property
I especially emphasize its structure in wood. It is a house rehabilitated in stone on the outside and wood inside. That gives it a warm and very welcoming air.
Enabled for the disabled I think it's important to give this kind of service. Making life easier for people is our daily commitment.
Take to say that in the room on the ground floor there is television and also in a double room on the top floor.
In the village canteen you can taste typical dishes of the area. There is the option to reserve a table, or order it to take home.
There is a permanent exhibition of paintings in the canteen that are for sale or even orders can be made.
What to do in its surroundings?
Although the area invites relaxation there are many activities to do in the area as well as sightseeing.
You can take walks through the pine forests without difficulty, to enjoy nature and suitable for families with children.
You can also hire free time activities within a wide range of possibilities, from archery to paintball or canoeing.
A must see is Atapuerca. In the city of Burgos, the Cathedral or the Museum of Human Evolution are also good options to spend a wonderful afternoon.
As a last novelty we have the Palaeolithic live only 4km away. You can spot wild horses as well as uros and bison, in a guided route that without a doubt you will enjoy as if it were a safari.
