Description of El Portalón de Gavilanes
Our house is located at Gavilanes, a small town of Ávila which is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and places of cultural interest.
The accommodation, of new construction, has a traditional architecture composed mainly of 3 materials: stone, wood and mud. The tiles used on the roof were part of old artisan houses since we want a building with history and totally adapted to its environment.

- Room with natural stone walls that give the room a rural and cozy character. Accounts with several sofas from which you can watch the television o enjoy a pleasant chat with your companions while enjoying the heat of the wood fireplace.
- Dining Room with tables of traditional style where you can taste the typical food of Ávila. You may come home with a few extra kilos, but it will be worth it.
- 5 double rooms, one of them with 2 twin beds and the rest with double bed. Each room is decorated in a different color and with exclusive furniture that consists of 2 bedside tables and a large wardrobe. You will not have space problems.
- 5 independent and complete bathrooms exclusive use of each bedroom.
- Porch with terrace furniture so that you can have breakfast while contemplating our beautiful views.
- Garden by which you can walk or relax lying on the grass.

Our house is located in the municipality of Gavilanes, in the province of Ávila. It is located in a privileged environment surrounded by streams, waterfalls and forests of oaks and pines. Some of the places of interest that you should know are:
- The Ulaca celtic fortress, is the main castro of the vettones and one of the most important of all Europe. Many vestiges of houses, ashlars and other monuments like the altar or the forge are conserved. Its wall has a perimeter of 3000 m.
