About Laura y Gregorio, Owner of Casa Nublo
Laura y Gregorio
I consider myself passionate about Rural Tourism, a dedicated, attentive and very hospitable woman.
I am in love with my land, the Canary Islands and I am a great host, who will make you discover in depth our traditions, our culture, our food and thus be able to enjoy your stay in these wonderful islands.
What the owner pinpoints on the property
Our houses are 185 years old, were rehabilitated in 2001, and officially recognized by the Tourist Board of Gran Canaria in the year 2010.
Among the most noteworthy, is its design, which combines wood and stone with rounded shapes, and warm natural colors in which the classicism and decorative typism can be seen, together with the most modern equipment.
In addition, its views are spectacular, as they overlook two thousand-year-old monoliths that are very characteristic for the town of Tejeda: El Roque Nublo, and Roque Bentayga.
The houses are perfectly connected to the rest of the island, making them two very popular accommodation for tourists who come mostly from Scandinavian countries, Germany, England, Italy, Switzerland, and the rest of Spain, both in the island area and the peninsular.
What to do in its surroundings?
The houses are strategically located, and have easy access from anywhere on the island.
In addition, in its surroundings there are a lot of outdoor activities, such as hiking or mountaineering among others.
If you prefer, there is also a wide range of cultural activities within the urban center of Tejeda, such as its museums, and establishments in which to enjoy its gastronomy, such as restaurants, and a high quality pastry shop.
