Casa Navafría

This rural house belongs to Montánchez, a municipality of Cáceres that houses many stone houses, like ours. It is located in a farm of 2 hectares and has capacity for 8 people:

It has 4 double bedrooms, one of them with a double bed and the other 3 with 2 separate single beds each. All rooms have large windows through which it receives a lot of natural light and tables with small night lamps.
The house has a spacious living-dining room fully equipped with fireplace, sofas, coffee table, television with channel +, radio set, a library space and board games.
It also has a large dining table with chairs for all diners.
On this same floor and outside you can enjoy a large porch with a picnic area so that you can eat if you prefer outdoors enjoying the views of the castle and all the natural surroundings that surround the farm.
The kitchen is American style and is separated from the living room by a low brick wall. The equipment it has follows the usual canons, since we have a refrigerator, 4 burners, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and small household appliances such as coffee maker and toaster and a multitude of kitchen utensils.

Outside you can find a large pool with a solarium area where we have placed different garden furniture to enjoy the sun and water in the summer months.
On the other hand, it also has a typical stone hut of the area, charcoal barbecue, a picnic area under a leafy tree with shady areas and a private parking porch in case you come with a vehicle.

Montánchez is located in the south of the province. It is located in the Sierra de Montánchez, which serves as a bridge between 2 large cities such as Cáceres and Mérida, and between 2 municipalities such as Don Benito and Trujillo.
The most characteristic building of the town is its Castle. This can be seen from almost anywhere in town due to its location on top of a hill.

Other buildings of interest that you can visit during your stay in are the Parish Church, the different Hermitages, or the Cruces del Calvario.

The typical dish of the area is the homonymous ham and las migas.
