Immerse yourself fully in a relaxed atmosphere and travel to this Galician house on the ribera del Sar. A 10-minute drive from the capital, Santiago de Compostela, escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and rest in this old house from 3 centuries ago.

It is the perfect place, due to its location, to enjoy its landscapes and the incredible views that there are from the site itself. The house, recently restored, continues to maintain its rustic essence and surrounds its tenants in a typical rural atmosphere of the Galician community. All of it in exposed stone and wood, meets the conditions for rest.

Up to 16 people can be accommodated here, distributed among the 4 double rooms -all with a full bathroom and individual - and in the 2 mansions, which being also rooms, offer greater privacy and an isolated environment to your tenants. Also, they are outside the main house. In addition, there are extra beds that we can include if necessary and prior reservation. And if you travel with under 7 years old, they can stay for free.

In all the rooms there is a complete heating system , for the wet winter months of Galicia, as well as television and connection to Internet.

In this building there are different areas of free access available to guests such as the dining room, where the breakfasts are served, included in the rent of the bedroom; the lounge with fireplace, the wine cellar and the library, where some board games are available to have a good time.

Outside the house we find a large garden with different areas in which to enjoy the atmosphere and climate of this area of ​​northern Spain. That breeze that caresses your body so different from the one you find in other areas of the country.

You can relax with a book, magazine or a warm coffee sitting on the front porch, where you will find an area of ​​dark wicker sofas with white cushions. In the garden itself there is a wooden picnic area, decorated in green tones through which different varieties of plants climb, as well as the set of table and chairs that accompany it. Couldn't be cozier.

And to get here through a paved access, we need a car that we can leave in the parking area that is enabled. You can also request some of the bicycles available, with which you can take long walks and enjoy the area of ​​the Ribera del Sar.

In the rooms you can be warm thanks to the system of heating, and you will enjoy a TV and connection to Internet.

Take the route of the Via Crucis de Sorribas and visit the 14 granite crosses and a cruiser that form it. They all create a path to the main church of Rois, which you can visit. Stroll through one of the essential places in the area, the National Park of the Atlantic Islands, a paradise for the eyes that is on the western coast of Galicia.

But if archeology is your thing, you should stop by the Aldea de Anqueira de Castro. It is one of the most important sites in the region where it is said that Queen Lupa lived.

And we cannot forget the wonderful gastronomy of the area. Famous for the quality of its fresh seafood and for bringing these products from the sea to the table directly. There is an extensive menu of fish, such as hake, sea bass, grouper,… or we can go for seafood with crabs, spider crabs, oysters, but without a doubt, you have to order the octopus and eat it, as they say, “ á feira ”, that is, cooked in water, chopped and seasoned with salt, oil and paprika. delicious!
